Good morning!

If you’ve spent much of the past month wondering where summer went, you needn’t wonder anymore. Wednesday will be absolutely stunning across much of the area, with a large ridge overhead giving us blue-bird skies throughout the region and a very light onshore flow to prevent us from getting too hot. Expect highs to reach into the mid 80s, similar to what they were on Monday.

The ridge will strengthen on Thursday, bringing us our warmest temperatures of the month with highs near 90 in some locations. Friday will be a transition day to cooler weather, but the transition may hold off late enough for some areas of the Puget Sound lowlands to approach 90 degrees once again. The coast should be significantly cooler, however.

Friday night, we get a pretty substantial marine push, and we’ll have more seasonable weather with morning clouds and afternoon sunshine for Saturday and Sunday.

Next week looks quite sunny as well! We’ll be a bit cooler, with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s.
