Good morning everybody!

It should be a FANTASTIC day to watch the Blue Angels today. At 7 am, the skies are as blue as can be and there is not a cloud in the sky over downtown Seattle. It doesn’t get much better than this!

Yesterday, we hit 82 at Sea-Tac. Expect today to be similar yesterday, albeit perhaps a bit cooler. Most people won’t notice the difference.

We have an upper-level low that is currently offshore near the tip of northern Vancouver Island, and this low will make its way into our neck of the woods as the weekend goes on. Expect increasing clouds on Saturday with highs dropping back into the low-to-mid 70s for most places in the I-5 corridor, and on Sunday, expect a chance of thunderstorms as the low settles over the area, kicking up some additional instability and generating convection, particularly over the mountains.

The low starts to move out on Monday, and we gradually start to warm up and dry out again next week with highs once again on either side of 80 degrees for most of us here in Seattle. It might not be the most exciting weather, but it sure is pleasant!

Have a wonderful Friday!
