Good afternoon everybody!

My apologies for being slow with the updates recently; I caught a dreadful “Warm” (cold+fever) over the weekend and I’ve been doing more sleeping than anything else as a result. But while the worst of the Warm has already passed for me, the rest of the week should be significantly warmer and drier than today.

There was some discussion about some thunderstorms popping up today as a upper-level-low swung through the area, but it appears as though the low was weaker than expected and was only able to set off a few strikes over southern Kitsap & King Counties as well as the far Northern Cascades.

The low will continue to move away from our area overnight, and on Wednesday, expect morning clouds to give way to afternoon sunshine with highs near normal in the mid 70s.

We will be even warmer on Thursday as a ridge settles over our area, giving us highs near 80, and it looks like a marine push will come in Thursday night, helping cool us back off to the mid 70s again for Friday in the Seattle area and the 60s in the coast and North Interior. Friday night, models bring a relatively strong upper-level-low into the area, which should bring us a couple showers and cool us down back below the 70-degree mark.

Thanks for reading!
