Good afternoon everybody! I hope Saturday treats you well.
Today is a fantastic day to get outside and rake up the leaves from what has thus far been a very active October! Expect mostly cloudy skies with highs near 60, which is a couple degrees above average for this time of the year.
Overnight, a weak frontal system comes through and delivers a round of light rain that should end for most by mid-morning, although some showers may remain over the Cascades until the afternoon. We may get another blotch of rain Sunday night as energy spinning off an upper-level low offshore swings into the area.

Another front comes in Monday afternoon, although most of the energy will be directed south into northern California. Tuesday is another day between systems, and a stronger system arrives from the south for Wednesday that should deliver a healthy dose of rain to nearly all of Washington with the exception of the Olympic Rainshadow.
A couple systems come in next weekend, and preliminary indications are that we enter a more active pattern to begin November. This should come as no surprise, as November is our stormiest month of the year.
