Good morning!

We had a weak marine push come through overnight, and as such, the coast is shrouded in low stratus clouds to kick off our Thursday. However, it is sunny throughout much of Western Washington, including the Seattle metropolitan area, as our onshore flow did not make it this far east.

Today looks to be the warmest day of the week for most of us in Western Washington. With a weak ridge of high pressure over the area, bountiful sunshine, and a moderating onshore flow, expect highs to be on either side of 80 degrees for the I-5 corridor, with warmer spots to the south and away from the water.

Friday looks similar to Thursday, albeit perhaps a degree or two cooler. A low pressure system drops down from the northwest on Saturday, cooling us off and giving us a chance of showers for Seafair weekend, particularly on Sunday.

Keep an eye out for those Blue Angels practicing today! It’s always so awesome to have them in town.
